2019 here we come!

Hello everyone! I hope you're keeping well!

First of all, as is traditional, I wish you a very happy new year 2019, loads of good stuff and hard to keep resolutions.

On my side, after being borderline burnt out in 2018 and finishing the year on a really low note, I decided to ease off a little on work and to try not to take all the negative stuff so seriously.
That means trying not to work on Sundays, take a few holidays here and there, get away from social media, enjoy my work and my family. Let's see how long that lasts ^^

This year, we are going to do things a bit differently:
Four years ago, I published HANAMI through the traditional channels, and the second part...is yet to be drawn, so from now on, every second week, there will be a blog-type strip and the other week a comic book page of the 2nd part of HANAMI (or at least a draft). I finally decided that I was never going to be able to draw/write HANAMI 2 and the blog in parallel, so I'm only going to be doing a little bit of both. It will be like a saga that you'll be able to follow twice a month, and I'll get a sense of achievement too.



Just so you know, your support on Tipee and Ulule has enabled us to start plenty of new projects, make a living through our work, paying for the guest blogs or the site maintenance, etc. We are also still sponsoring an animal shelter (photos coming soon) and we hope to also lend a hand to other authors who are struggling. So we're really grateful for all your support. Below you will find a short summary of what happened in HANAMI, so that you can kickstart your journey through part 2 with us.
